How the app may be used. The same words are inside the app, under Settings.
What the app does
This app is a player. It does not provide, host or distribute content, and it is the source of no stream.
Every channel, film and series you see comes from the provider you sign in to. The app connects to the address you give it and plays what comes back.
Use
The app is for personal use. Rebroadcasting streams, handing on what you have saved, or using any of it commercially is outside that.
The app is handed out free. Passing the file on unchanged is welcome. Selling it, charging for access to it, or presenting it as your own work is not.
Responsibility
That the subscription and the credentials are yours, and that using them follows the law where you are and the rights on the content, is your responsibility.
What you watch, whether it keeps running, how good it looks and whether it is lawful are your provider's doing. A channel that will not open, disappears from the list or carries the wrong name is something at their end.
The app does not police your provider's rules on your behalf, and is in no position to.
Parental control
Parental control hides or locks entries whose name or category points at adult content. It goes by how your provider named things, so it is not a perfect filter.
Where a young child may pick up the remote, use your provider's own restrictions as well rather than resting on this alone.
Warranty
The app is provided as it is. Nobody promises it will run without interruption, or that it will get along with every provider; they do not all speak quite the same way.
Downloading, saving and parental control are there to help as far as they can. Keeping a copy of anything that matters is still a good habit.
The licence itself
What you have is permission to use the app, given free and for as long as you want it. It is not a sale of the software itself, and the app stays closed-source.
Free now does not mean free for ever: the app may be sold later. That would apply to copies handed out from then on, not to the one already on your computer.
